High resolution, 25 spectral bands

Launched in January 2019, the Chinese Hyperscan satellites (Jilin-1 GP01/02) are 2 hyperspectral satellites. Their acquisition capabilities are multiple. They acquire 25 spectral bands in the visible range, from natural colors to short, medium and long infrared. The 2 satellites are equipped with an on-board processing system enabling them to obtain remote sensing data with a resolution of up to 5m over a swath of 110 km. They have a revisit capacity of 2 days. The Hyperscan or JL1GP01/02 constellation is widely used in agricultural and environmental monitoring through to mining prospecting and mapping on a national scale.
